Teacher Appreciation Week

The first week in May is Teacher Appreciation.  We were blessed with exceptional teachers this year.  

It was so much fun to shower them with gifts for the year.  Oh and A LOT of work; organizing and planning.  We had two groups of amazing parents that jumped in feet first with my idea of pooling our money together at the beginning of the year so that we could gift the teachers for bdays, winter break and TA week.  Our classes (2nd and 5th) donated $650.00 and $700.00 to be used for teacher and assistant gifts which made buying the gifts a lot of fun.  We were able to do very nice gift baskets for bdays and winter break and something for them everyday of TA week.  Below are a few picts I sent to parents the week of TA week so they could be a part of what their money went to purchase.

Ms. Pocelli's bday gift basket ! Her bday fell the same week of TA. 

Also not pictured were gift bags filled with favorites for each teacher. 

It was a fun but busy year.
