I had fun volunteering today during cottage which is Mineral Market. I helped the boys make pets like a hammer head shark and a sting ray! How fun.

Morrison Ranch Pecan Festival

I took a little lady bug and a SUPER girl to the Pecan Festival last night. We joined our friends from the hood and had a blast. We ate, danced, did crafts and played. There was a costume party and a parade too!!

Lesson of the night- if you get glow stick "stuff" in your eye- the recommendation from poison control is a 20 minute shower and the ER if needed. =(

Yes, that is how our night ended and it was a little scary, but Caitlyn is fine and we did not have to go to the ER...just be extra careful.

A Race for Maggie's Place 2011

We enjoyed a beautiful day in Tempe participating in A Race for Maggie's Place. After the girls ran the kids dash, Bryan ran the 10K and the girls and I walked the 5K. Emma ran the first half mile and she walked the rest of the way. Caitlyn had a lovely time riding in the jogger. This marks our third year being a part of this great event.

Fall Break Fun

E and L had the chance to spend some time together over fall break. I found this old photo of them together when they were 2 yrs old at the pumpkin patch in the fall of 2007. Now, fast forward 4 years and here they are at the zoo this past week. Wow, how time flies when you are having fun !

the weather is cooling down so we have been getting out and enjoying it - we went on a bike ride to the Preserve and it was lovely

a little birdie

told me that if you ever rent a Dodge Nitro (that drives by a tank) and you accidentally bump into a white pole that is holding up the parking garage of your hotel and it leaves very noticeable white marks...buy some finger nail polish remover and it will take care of all of your problems...(what problems?)

the birdie's name was "Google" and I have no idea who this may have happened to??
