Our adorable niece was born January 30th 2015 at 8:31pm. She weighed 8 lbs, 2 oz and was 21 inches long. She is the light of both sides of the family.

Ski jumps & races
We spent the long weekend in Pinetop enjoying the snow. The girls started the season off with a little refresher lesson from Coach Dave. This year, he taught them how to go over jumps and race each other. Emma caught some good air over one jump. :) We explored the highest peak (11,000 feet) and enjoyed skiing that side it as it is less crowded.

Sweden Project
We learned A LOT about Sweden over Christmas break. Emma did an excellent job researching facts from many resources and putting the info together. We made yummy ginger cookies (traditional to Sweden) and Bryan and the girls built The famous Ice Hotel out of sugar cubes. Emma wants to go to Sweden and stay at the Ice Hotel now. But I am thinking our trip to Chicago counted as far as visiting an Ice Hotel! She presented a 5 minute verbal presentation to the class and my Mom, Bryan and I attended. It was wonderful. Good job Em !
