Family

Life is unexpected.  We are thankful for family and faith. 

We attempted a quick photo shoot while we were in Pinetop.  

Happy to call these great people with kind hearts family. 

Happy Golden Birthday Miss Em

Em's birthday began with a visit from this little cutie.  Nate, Laura and Anna arrived just in time for the party and were in AZ for 2 weeks spending time with us.  The first thing on the party agenda was to meet Anna and then open gifts (we did things a little backwards) !

After visiting with Anna we jumped in the car (well two cars actually) and headed to Fat Cats for some fun.  The girls watched "The Secret Life of Pets" while enjoying their own pizzas.  After that we played games and everyone got prizes.

Picking out prizes - that took 5 hours - or at least it felt like it 

Once we got home the girls played a quick game of pie face, had snow cones and swam! 

After a swim they played "guess the gross jelly bean flavor".  EWWW

After settling down, they watched a few movies and eventually went to sleep. 

It was a super lovely party 

Pinetop with Grandma

Grandma joined us for a long weekend in Pinetop 

We started out by celebrating Em's birthday (early) at the Pasta House 

Pie Face was a blast 

Our good friends and neighbors happened to be vacationing in Pinetop so we enjoyed an afternoon and evening with them !
