December festivities

We enjoyed a very blessed Christmas season with family and friends.

We ended the day acting out the Nativity and listening to Emma play Christmas songs on the keyboard .

My Grandma Dorothy joined Jesus on December 23rd, just in time to celebrate his birthday in heaven.  She is with my Grandpa now and that is all she wanted.  These are just a few of my favorite pictures of her.  She will forever be in my heart.  I love you Grandma.  Pray for us from above, we look forward to joining you for eternal life.

full of life

This little lady woke up, jumped out of her bed and was dressed before I got into her room... why?  Because she was soooo excited to get a new lesson at Montessori  today.  I love C's zest for life, her excitement for learning and her loving heart.  

PS- today she moves to the "blue" cards which are 4 letter words with the moveable alphabet.  Miss Reggie complimented her saying "it is so much fun to teach children like Caitlyn who are excited about new lessons."

lunch date

I try to have lunch with Emma once a week.  I love the Neely allows parents join their kiddos for lunch anytime.  Emma usually asks a few gals from class to join us.  These are the goofy girls we ate with yesterday.  It was fun, it was goofy and I loved every minute of it.  There were giggles, stories and yes a little screaming when a bee flew by.
