Davey family photos fall 2009

Thanksgiving 2009

Thanksgiving 2009 at the Davey's house. We enjoyed having Great Aunt Jane, Great Grandma Janet and the Stenhoffs here to celebrate Thanksgiving with us.

The "kids" dessert table- I am not sure who had more fun...the kiddos or Great Grandma?

Bryan and Grandma

Emma and Great Aunt Jane made turkey place settings for all of the kiddos

Watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade

We are a very blessed family. We love you all.

Emma's first Kids Dash

Emma participated in her first Kids Dash today. She did some stretching before she ran.

Emma's metal and her many toy rings.

We are sooo proud of our Emma. She ran her best. She got a t-shirt, a metal, popsicle and toy rings. She is a fast little girl. Hip hip hooray for Miss E.

A Race for Maggie's Place

Tempe Town Lake
A Race for Maggie's Place
November 8, 2009 9K- to represent the 9 months of pregnancy
Maggie's place has 5 homes here in the valley and 1 in Coeur d' Alene, ID

Maggie's Place is a community that provides houses of hospitality for expectant women who wish to achieve their goals in a dignified atmosphere. Following Catholic social teaching, we recognize that we are responsible to and for one another. We challenge each other to strive toward personal growth, to welcome the gift of every person that enters our door, and to promote positive social change. In this way, we celebrate and provide for the next generation.

Lots of snacks. The girls did an awesome job riding the whole 5.6 miles.

Running around before the race. Stretching our legs.

Hydrating with Daddy's water bottle before the race.

The evidence is clear...one of the many snacks were cheetos- hey they were baked. He he.

Our friends the Bradleys. Jen walked the 9K pushing Jack while pregnant with the little Bradley baby. Way to go Jen, you rock.

The finish line. YAY. 1 hour and 2 min. That includes a few stops to grab snacks for the girly girls.

Halloween at Nana and Papa's

Emma and Caitlyn had fun playing with Mommy and Uncle Nate's ol toys. Over breakfast Emma said "My hair was sure big when I got up." And as you can see...it was.

Sister hugs- they have been doing this a lot lately. Adorable.

Daddy, Emma and Nana out to breakfast.

Cruisen in Papa's new toy.

Our blue eyed pumpkin.

Decorating sugar cookies with Nana. Thank goodness for the dough that is already made.

We busted out the vintage SMURF masks from back in the day. Emma had no idea who they were. I guess that makes us old. Too funny.

Emma was a butterfly, flower fairy.

Caitlyn was a busy little bee. You may recognize this costume from a few years ago on Miss Emma. They both had fun trick or treating at Great Grandma's. And, yes Emma got toothpaste in her pumpkin from Nana.
Don't all kids get toothpaste or toothbrushes? Grandma Janis is smiling...:)
The finished product before we headed to WYO.

Wyoming Great Grandma Tour

Halloween with Great Grandma Velma. We skyped with Uncle Nate. He got a few laughs from our costumes.

Trick or Treating.

Hi Uncle Nate.

Cute little bumble bee in the background.

We took a drive up to Gillette to see Great Grandma Dorothy. We had fun eating yummy barbeque at Pokey's (or Porky's to some).
