Piano Recital

We enjoyed listening to Emma and friends during the Let's Play Music recital.  It was fun to have Grandma Brenda and Grandpa Dan there.  Hard to believe we are finished the second year of three.  Love this program.

Sister Bear's hard work

Nana and Papa attended "show me" day while B and I were in Tampa. I am so happy they could share that special day with C bear.

Caitlyn has been working hard at Montessori. Her amazing teacher made my day by texting me a few pictures of her doing the movable alphabet. After she mastered identifying sounds on the sand paper alphabet, she moved to matching the sand paper alphabet letter cards to the movable alphabet. From there she got to begin making CVC words or Consonant Vowel Consonant words. First Ms. Reggie said the word and she would have to find the sounds out of the letter box and place them on her rug. Next, she had little objects and would have to sound the word out herself and choose the correct sounds to place on her rug. Learning is truly amazing. It makes the long drive so worth it.

A cute little memory-
The night that C woke up with a stomach bug, B and I were cleaning her up and changing her bed. I told her that she would have to stay home the next day. With tears in her eyes she said "but mama, I won't get my new lesson from Ms. Reggie". I had to smile inside. I love her love of learning.

Easter weekend celebration

We shared a lovely weekend with family, dying eggs, crafting, performing skits (Nate and Laura are very talented), participating in an Easter egg hunt, watching Em swim, cooking, playing, riding new bikes, visiting, attending Easter mass and celebrating Easter. Jesus is risen, alleluia !

Nana's surprise Easter jello with oreo "dirt" and gummy worms on top.

The girls table with edible centerpieces - Emma and I surprised everyone when we started eating the Easter grass.

The fam enjoying Easter dinner and sharing conversation. Don't look too close as I am "really" enjoying the food. :)

Our new home

We are so happy and thankful for the blessing of our new home. We are officially settled in and have had two sets of guests. It has been a long process with just a few bumps, but overall we are just happy and thankful. Thank you to our dear friends, the Stenhoff family and my parents for all of your help. We couldn't have done it without you. We celebrated Easter with family and hosted Easter dinner.

Teeth Day with Grandma Janis

Celebrating Grandpa Doug's birthday - in style

Grandma Janis and Grandpa Doug came to AZ for a visit. While Grandma was here, she went to first grade for a day...

She taught Emma's class about choosing healthy food for our teeth

and how to brush

It was a great day and we all learned a lot. GJ also brought awesome goody bags for Em's class.

Thanks so much Grandma
