Last night while we were eating dinner, Caitlyn informed Bryan of his consequence for making the chicken to spicy. With wide eyes, a serious voice and a little head nodding, Caitlyn said "Dad, your consequence for making the chicken to spicy is that you will not be able to join us for story time. You will only get to rub my back and kiss me."
I love that she thinks that Dad missing story time would be sad for him. She has been cracking us up lately. Love you Miss C. Dad did not get his consequence, but instead he talked Emma into reading C a story while I went to the gym. Love life with these three. XO

Best Day of My Life- Music Theater Workshop
Em participated in Music Theater Workshop for the 3rd year and this was the best year yet. Two of her friends joined her and they had a blast. Songs this year included Best Day of My Life and Happy. Movies included Frozen (of course), Teen Beach Movie and Croods. Broadway productions included Newsies, Matilda and the Sound of Music. Since Em doesn't get to see the entire show due to being back stage, we took her to see the second performance (group 2) on Saturday night. Yes, we win the "best parents ever" award for watching it two nights in a row. :) It was enjoyable both times ! Great job Em. Caitlyn is counting the days until she can participate next summer.

We had a blessed day celebrating Emma's First Communion and Confirmation with family, friends and our church community. Nana was Emma's sponsor and she chose St. Elizabeth of Hungary as her Saint. We are so thankful for all of the prayers and love shared with Emma on her special day. She was so excited to receive the Holy Eucharist.
Thanks to Tara and Papa for the many photos. I haven't even downloaded the ones off of my camera. :)
