This week

Em missed her first soccer game since we were meeting Miss A. Her team had their second win of the season last Saturday.  It has been so fun to see Emma's growth in just one year.  Coach Marc sent her a text after her game on Saturday and told her she had her best game thus far.  He has been her coach for two seasons, this is the third.  It has been a blessing to be on his team...and the best part is, Emma and Jenna (his daughter) are two peas in a pod.  Sweet and thoughtful and good friends.  Assistant Coach Bryan seen giving the girls a high five above.

After keeping it a surprise (barley), we surprised the girls on Tuesday and told them where they are going for Spring break.  It was awesome!!

Anna's Baptism

We celebrated Anna's baptism on Feburary 15, 2015.  It was a lovely day, she was a doll and we are so blessed and honored to be her Godparents.

Girls rule ! Chicago

We braved the freezing cold weather to head to Chicago so the girls and Uncle Bryan could meet baby A for the first time.  Emma and Caitlyn were in love at first sight and had told everyone at school where they were headed.

A little outing to the local Children's museum

Great Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Paul arrived

Proud Aunt and Uncle and Godparents

Saturday, we ventured to downtown Chicago to the Field Museum with Nana and Papa and Great Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Paul !

We had so much fun! We learned all about the Ancient Americas and the land bridge (which the girls had learned about in school)

Caitlyn was in heaven with the Animal Kingdom exhibit (that we could have spent days in).  She wanted her photos by every "cute" animal.  None of the other family members thought the animals she loved were all that cute- note the bats above.

There was also a huge exhibit all about Ancient Egypt with both girls have studied in school.  Mummies and all.  They were both in ahh.  What a fun day, but we needed a week to see everything.

HIGHLIGHTS:
1. My mother and aunt pointing at every odd looking gorilla or monkey and saying "there is your relative" and then dying of laughter.  At least they could entertain each other.
2. Eating lunch out of the vending machine.  The lines were so long for all the diners and we did not want to waste our time, so we had chips, candy and soda for lunch.  The girls were in heaven.

After the museum, we headed back to the Tibbitts to see Anna and her other Uncles and Aunt that had arrived that day.

Surprise Auntie Andrea is here

Once sweet baby Anna was born, I couldn't wait to snuggle her.  I jumped on a plane with Nana and Papa (who were already going out early) to surprise Nate and Laura with a quick 2 night visit.  Here she is with her Daddy sporting his Highland Behavioral jacket. Now she needs one.

Anna, smiling because she is so happy her Auntie A was visiting.

What a doll baby! Here she is in her little Gymboree outfit and new blanket that the girls picked out for her.

Telling Nana "what's up".  I have a pic like this of C...do I see a little personality?
