October fun

We enjoyed the Morrison Ranch fall festival with friends and had a great time

Bryan was out of town all weekend so we had Nana and Papa over after a day of soccer and church.  We ate yummy chili, carmel apples and carved our pumpkins.

Soccer girls and the cute coach

Boo-ed

We got boo-ed for the first time this year ! The girls were so excited.  So, both girls got to choose a friend they wanted to boo.  We filled up pumpkins with treats and treasures and passed on the fun.

Happily busy

We got to go have lunch with these goofy girls this week.  We also had parent teacher conferences.  It is always fun to hear first hand how the girls are doing.    They both love school and are doing very well.

Em had her first Friday night game, which was chilly and fun.  She scored a goal the week before...go Em.
C bear had a fabulous Saturday game and wanted to play the entire time.  I think the cooler temps helped her endurance.  She scored 2/3 goals for our team and was pretty tired afterward- (note the hurry up and take the photo face).  Bryan enjoys coaching and has such a cute group of girls (the parents are all great too)

After switching gears from soccer coach and soccer mom, we threw on our costumes.  Richard and his groupie headed out to Ann and Mark's annual Halloween party.  We had a good time, but were home by 10pm (see above for why)

We went to mass at St. Mary Magdalene's in Gilbert.  We stopped by the statue of Mary that my Mom and Aunt donated, in remembrance of Grandpa Don. It was neat to see the flowers and people stop by to say a prayer.

After some errands and piano practice, the girls and I headed to girl scouts while Bryan did yard work. We learned all about reusing and recycling.  We made "green" window cleaner, a bird feeder and repurposed glass night lights that looked like pumpkins.  It was a great meeting with a great group of girls.

For dinner we had butternut squash, corn, zucchini enchiladas and the girls cleaned the windows with their new cleaner.  It was a busy but wonderful weekend.

Thankful for all of our blessings, activities and friends to share fun adventures with.

Pinetop in the fall

We enjoyed a few fall days in Pinetop over fall break.  The air was cool, it rained one day and even snowed for a few minutes but did not stick.

We played games (monopoly is still set up because it was just getting to be fun after playing three nights in a row).

We snuggled and roasted marshmallows.

I got a few lovely runs in with this beautiful view.

We beat the lines at Sunrise and got our ski passes in under 45 minutes.

On our way home, we stopped in Snowflake at Willis farm.  It was the coolest pumpkin farm! They had every type of pumpkin you can imagine.

We are so thankful for our time together.  Time to slow down and enjoy just being together.  Happy fall
