Happy 4th of July

We spent the morning of July 3rd at the Stenhoff's house celebrating Ethan's 12th birthday. We had crepes for breakfast and oh yeah, cake too.

Anna, Bethany and Ethan Stenhoff

The girls had fun playing outside after we ate our sweet treats.
Happy Birthday Ethan.

The night of the 3rd we enjoyed an evening at the Norman's home with the Bradley fam. Bryan holding our little godson Kolbe (5 weeks old).

Emma, Jack and Simon - what a fun evening, good food and great company.

Emma saw this breakfast on the Sprout channel and has been talking about it since. Bryan got up and made it for the girls on the 4th. What a super Daddy we have. YUMMY.

The girls had fun after nap time sliding down the slide into the pool. WEEEE

For the first time since we have lived in AZ (it has been exactly 3 years this week), the city of Gilbert had the fireworks out in our neck of the woods. They ended up shooting them off at Highland High school which is about a mile to the North of us. People came to the Big League Dreams ball park to play, eat and watch the fireworks show. Our neighborhood is right next to the ball park so we had some extra cars on our street.

We didn't mind the extra cars, we were just excited to be able to sit on our back porch and watch the show. Caitlyn slept till 5pm so we let her stay up a little late for a swim, but she did not make it until 9pm, maybe next year. Emma stayed up later and we invited the Stenhoffs over last minute for a swim and fireworks.

Adalia, Mathea and Emma watching Mickey Mouse clubhouse until the fireworks began- oh yeah and lots of treats to go along- smoothies, popcorn and red, white and blue popsicles.

Nana and Papa brought us these sparklers last year but we forgot about them.
The kiddos had fun with them this year.

Sitting on the back porch watching the fireworks display. It wasn't grand by any means but hey you can't complain when you don't have to leave your house. We hope to do this every year when we are in town.

Happy 4th of July. We thank all of those who fight for our freedom. We are blessed to live in the USA.
