Em's first day of Kindergarten

We got a call a few weeks ago from Edu-Prize Charter School, they explained that they had a full day opening for Emma. After reconsidering our decision about Gilbert Traditional, we felt like God was leading us toward Edu-Prize. We feel like Edu-Prize will be the best fit for her and our family. We like the hands on application, science based approach they have. We also feel like the class size of 20 was a bonus and the different schedules available will give us more family time. There was a reason our two vacations were planned earlier in the summer, it was so E could start school in July. :-) We just didn't realize it until now.

So, off the Kindergarten today at 7am. Her day starts at 7:30am and ends at 12:30pm- and that is considered a full day. She woke up excited and ready to go.

Today was Emma's first day of Kindergarten at Edu-Prize School.

She had requested hard eggs and Bethany toast (that is bread made by our friend Bethany).

First picture in front of Edu-Prize.

In line to head into class.

Best wishes to you this year Miss E.
You had a great first day. You told me all about it and told me you want to go to first grade at your new school. I am so happy that you love it.

Hugs and kisses, we are so very proud of you.
Love,
Mommy and Daddy

  1. What a big day for all of you and it sounds like it went wonderfully well. So sweet of Emma to want Bethany's bread to help start her off in the morning. Bethany sure enjoyed reading the post and knowing Emma like it. :o) Love to you all.
