After celebrating with Maria and Dan we made our way down to Anaheim to check into the lovely Disney Grand Californian ! We spent the first afternoon lounging by the pool and checking into our room.
The girls were thrilled to find bunk beds in our room!

We began the "Emma birthday week" with dinner at the Napa Rose with Nana and Papa and of course a fancy bday dessert. Emma got a special birthday button to wear at the park. I swear, she was wished "Happy Birthday" 200 times. It was so fun.
We had to take advantage of entering the park one hour before everyone else did (one of the perks of staying at the Disney hotel). We entered the gates at 7:15 am and had completed Cars Land by 8:45!!
Em was super brave and went on the Screaming over California roller coaster with Bryan. It goes upside down and all. She went once and that was good enough. C and I enjoyed the carousal while we waited.

B and I had a crazy parent moment and took the girls on the tower of terror (Nana went for the first time too), they were brave, but it was a bit much...they both deserved a treat afterward.

The wonderful world of color ended out our day, ending at 10:45pm ! We had a blast but we were wiped.
Up the next day, bright eyed and ready to visit Auntie Jane on our way out of town
